Finding meaning in life
I have attended over 500 hours of training seminars and have a diploma in North America’s only program on Existential Analysis.
Existential analysis is a therapeutic approach that explores the fundamental questions of human existence, such as the search for meaning, the experience of freedom, and the inevitability of life’s challenges, including suffering and death. This form of therapy encourages individuals to confront these existential concerns in a way that promotes personal growth and authenticity.
My aim in taking this training was to help people make authentic decisions that reflect who they really are at their core. Understanding the fundamental motivations that move us, including the uncertainties and contradictions inherent in life, allows us to gain self-awareness, clarify our values, and find purpose, all enabling us to live more meaningful and fulfilled lives.
My Existential Analysis training has been the most moving and richest component of my entire training as a counsellor, and I enjoy sharing this with clients who are seeking a deeper understanding of their own lives.
